About the role

  • Optimize Jabil's operational processes and systems across the US region
  • Lead and execute industrial engineering projects from conception to completion
  • Analyze existing manufacturing and logistical processes to identify bottlenecks, waste, and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement new process layouts, material flow, and production methods
  • Utilize industrial engineering tools and methodologies such as time studies, motion studies, facility layout, capacity planning, and simulation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, supply chain, quality, and engineering
  • Design and implement lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics, dashboards, and reporting systems

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 4 to 6 years of experience in an industrial engineering role within a manufacturing or project-based environment
  • At least 1-3 years in a leadership or regional role
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing process improvement projects
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel) and simulation software (e.g., Arena, FlexSim)
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region to support various Jabil sites (up to 75%)
