About the role
- Represent the client Technologies AI / Computer Vision / ROS group in technical discussions and meetings.
- Stay abreast of the latest technologies to provide competitive and cost-effective designs.
- Raise perception of client’s acumen in the industry by authoring or presenting white papers.
- Lead the development of platform and product architectures in collaboration with technical staff.
- Perform independent research and engineering studies.
- Effectively consult on multiple projects in parallel.
- Develop state-of-the-art algorithms in the field of AI / Computer Vision / ROS.
- Translate existing imaging algorithms to client’s Robotics platform.
- Develop tools for implementing and using AI / ML / ROS designs.
Requirements
- minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience in AI / Computer Vision and Robotics software development, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in AI and Computer Vision algorithm development.
- Proven experience implementing and optimizing computer vision solutions in robotics platforms.
- Solid experience working with ROS (Robot Operating System) in production environments.
- Experience designing system or platform architectures in AI / Robotics domains.
- Ability to analyze algorithms for performance trade-offs (accuracy, latency, compute, memory).
- Strong knowledge of Computational 3D Geometry.
- Experience working with robotics or mobile imaging acquisition platforms.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python (production-level development).
- Experience working with Linux, including real-time environments.
- Familiarity with modern code development frameworks.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
