About the role
- Participate in the design, development, and testing of new products, components, or systems, adhering to project timelines and specifications
- Conduct detailed engineering analysis, simulations, and calculations to validate designs and optimize performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and supply chain to ensure seamless product introduction and sustained production
- Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis of technical issues arising during development or production, proposing and implementing effective solutions
- Develop and maintain engineering documentation, including specifications, drawings, test plans, and reports
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities for existing products and processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
- Assist in the selection, qualification, and management of materials, components, and suppliers
- Adhere to all company safety standards, quality procedures, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Physics or Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Materials Science, or equivalent field) from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of relevant engineering experience, preferably within a manufacturing or product development environment
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo) for design and drafting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a methodical approach to technical challenges
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Familiarity with relevant industry standards and quality systems (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma) is a plus
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
