Provide technical oversight and qualification of new injection molds (Design Review, DFM, FAT, SAT)
Plan and conduct mold audits and acceptance testing at suppliers
Support sites with maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting guidance
Deliver training and coaching to site teams on mold care and failure analysis
Develop and implement regional standards for mold design, maintenance, and repair
Work closely with the Process Engineer to optimize mold–process interaction
Requirements
Experience in mold design, manufacturing, and acceptance testing
Knowledge of maintenance and repair processes for high-cavitation and precision molds
A bachelor's degree in engineering is required; however, candidates with substantial and directly relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Knowledge of mold function, stack tolerances and manufacturing techniques
CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, NX, or equivalent)
Strong communication skills and ability to work in multicultural environments
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Willingness to travel approximately 50% within Europe
Advantage: Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (Healthcare/Medical Devices)
