About the role

  • We are building a new Regional Plastics Team for Europe. This high-visibility team will drive strategic projects, implement best-in-class injection molding standards, and provide expert support to sites across Europe with a strong focus on healthcare manufacturing.
  • As a Regional Injection Molding Process Engineer, you will be hands-on at our European sites, implementing new processes, supporting troubleshooting activities, conducting training, and driving process standardization.
  • This role is remote within Europe with approximately 30% travel.
  • Having an office presence at a Jabil site is an advantage to strengthen local networking.
  • Key Responsibilities: Implement, optimize, and standardize injection molding processes across multiple European sites
  • Support new product introductions, process development, and serial production ramp-up
  • Lead troubleshooting and support complex manufacturing problem resolution
  • Conduct training and coaching for technicians, engineers, and site SMEs
  • Deploy best practices and global initiatives (e.g., ComoNeo, Hexagon EAM, OPC UA integration, Parametric Release)
  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Plastics SME and Tooling Engineer for rapid improvement implementation
  • Participate in regional and global projects with strategic importance and high visibility

Requirements

  • Proven experience in injection molding (process development, optimization, validation)
  • A bachelor's degree in engineering is required; however, candidates with substantial and directly relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • Hands-on experience with molding machines, tools, and auxiliary equipment
  • Knowledge of DOE, Scientific Molding, RJG, or comparable methodologies
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in multicultural environments
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30% within Europe
  • Advantage: Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (Healthcare/Medical Devices)
