About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advance and lead a global Total Rewards strategy covering compensation, benefits, payroll, and recognition programs
  • Advise executive leadership, HR, Finance, Legal, and business leaders on compensation, incentives, retention, benefits, payroll governance, and Total Rewards issues
  • Lead global compensation programs including salary structures, job architecture, job leveling, pay ranges, merit and bonus processes, incentive plans, market pricing, and benchmarking
  • Build and maintain scalable global job architecture, job families, levels, bands, and career frameworks
  • Oversee global benefits strategy and program design with brokers, consultants, vendors, and regional stakeholders
  • Provide strategic oversight of global payroll operations, controls, processing accuracy, and regulatory compliance
  • Lead Total Rewards due diligence, risk assessment, retention analysis, harmonization, communications, and post-acquisition integration for M&A activity
  • Develop analytics, dashboards, reporting, and insights for executive decision-making, workforce planning, pay equity, cost modeling, and business reviews
  • Monitor market trends, pay transparency requirements, regulatory changes, and competitive practices
  • Partner with Finance to model financial impacts and align programs with budgets and growth plans
  • Lead vendor, broker, consultant, and platform relationships
  • Drive process improvement, automation, governance, documentation, and controls
  • Lead, develop, and scale a globally distributed compensation, benefits, and payroll team
  • Communicate Total Rewards programs to leaders, managers, employees, and acquired teams
  • Maintain policies, procedures, governance documents, internal controls, and compliance practices

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 12+ years of progressive Human Resources experience with significant depth in compensation and Total Rewards
  • Experience leading compensation, benefits, and/or payroll teams in a global or multi-jurisdiction environment
  • Deep expertise in compensation strategy, job architecture, market pricing, pay structures, incentive design, annual compensation planning, benchmarking, pay equity, and executive compensation advisory
  • Strong understanding of global benefits strategy, vendor/broker management, plan design, employee communications, compliance, and cost management across US and international markets, including EMEA and APAC
  • Experience overseeing payroll operations and payroll governance across US and international jurisdictions
  • Experience supporting M&A due diligence and integration related to compensation, benefits, payroll, retention, harmonization, communications, and change management
  • Strong analytical, financial, and business acumen, including data interpretation, market trends, and cost modeling
  • Ability to influence and advise executives, business leaders, HR, Finance, Legal, and other stakeholders
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity, manage multiple priorities, execute in compressed timelines, and balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Strong project management, change management, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience leading, developing, and scaling high-performing distributed teams
  • Working knowledge of HRIS, compensation planning tools, payroll systems, analytics platforms, and related technologies
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field required
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, sound judgment, and professionalism
