About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage litigation engagements to evaluate economic damages
- Perform analysis and prepare economic loss reports without being identified as the testifying expert
- Contact current clients regarding document requests and report analytical findings, primarily in coordination with senior leadership
- Interact with clients, including face-to-face meetings, to gather pertinent data and information
- Prepare damages analyses by determining methodologies and building and reviewing financial models
- Manage other consultants performing tasks relevant to report preparation
- Lead file management and report writing using a team approach
- Review and analyze reports from opposing damages experts
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline such as Business, Economics, Mathematics, Finance, or Accounting
- 3–7 years of experience evaluating economic damages in personal injury or employment litigation
- Experience evaluating economic damages in litigation cases
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to produce high-quality expert reports
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Advanced analytical and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong independent work ethic with demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Ability to effectively support and address client needs
- Preferred: Master’s degree with strong quantitative bias
- Professional certifications such as CEA, CVA, or ABV, or demonstrated progress toward relevant certifications
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer
