About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and perform comprehensive industrial hygiene assessments, including exposure monitoring for chemical, physical, and biological hazards.
- Oversee inspections and sampling programs for asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and indoor air quality (IAQ) concerns.
- Design and implement remediation strategies, providing expert recommendations for hazard identification, mitigation, and control.
- Prepare and review detailed technical reports, presenting findings and recommendations clearly to senior client stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to OSHA, EPA, and other applicable regulatory frameworks, acting as a subject matter expert in compliance matters.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated environmental, health, and safety solutions across complex projects.
- Provide strategic guidance on ventilation systems, respiratory protection programs, and hazard communication initiatives.
- Contribute to business development efforts by supporting key client relationships, participating in client meetings, and assisting in proposal development.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Required Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 5–10 years of industrial hygiene experience, preferably in a consulting environment
- One or more of the following certifications will be an advantage: Asbestos Inspector, Management Planner, Project Designer, Supervisor, Air Sampling Professional, Lead-based paint risk assessor certification
- Mold and IAQ assessment experience
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and industrial hygiene principles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present findings to clients
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently with minimal supervision.
