Accounting Manager

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manages financial record keeping, reporting and other accounting functions
- Supports Global Food consolidation and coordinates affiliate and elimination accounting
- Produces accurate financial reports for internal and external use
- Oversees and evaluates the activities of the accounting staff
- Assists in aligning and directing accounting policies and practices
- Works closely with FP&A, auditors, public accountants, and other financial professionals
- Identifies area of accounting risk and modifies or implements controls as necessary
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
- 8+ years related experience and/or training
- Prior supervisory experience
- Extensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with JDE, Agvance, Power BI, Axiom or SAP preferred
