About the role

  • Effectively manages customer financial services, accounts receivable, and risk exposure within an assigned geographic area.
  • Augments overall marketing and sales efforts while ensuring compliance with established financial and credit policies.
  • Administers the company’s credit policy by reviewing procedures and practices of marketing and sales personnel to ensure compliance.
  • Evaluates and approves credit lines for new and existing customers within established approval limits.
  • Provides recommendations to the Area Financial Services Manager (AFSM) for accounts exceeding the approval authority of a Sr. Regional Credit Analyst.
  • Conducts thorough financial analysis of customer financial statements to assess creditworthiness and mitigate risk.
  • Delivers training and guidance to customers and sales teams on available financing programs to support cash flow objectives and manage financial risk.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with local lenders, suppliers, government agencies, legal professionals, and agricultural community leaders to ensure access to reliable credit information.
  • Collaborates with the AFSM to identify and escalate delinquent accounts to the Special Credit Department.
  • Utilizes spreadsheets and financial software tools to analyze data and support decision-making.
  • Requires travel and a flexible work schedule to meet business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4-year college or university
  • 5+ years related experience and/or training
  • Demonstrated experience of in-depth knowledge of excel required
  • Ability to assess problems and situations, exercise independent judgment, and reach logical and sound decisions.
  • Have a strong interpersonal relationship, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Conduct business affairs with uncompromising honesty.
