About the role
- Collection, preparation and analysis of internal and external data for provision to the commercial organization
- Support for the Senior Commercial Development Manager in the annual commercial planning process, including analyses and structured data preparation
- Preparation and production of current market and industry reports on a regular schedule and for ad-hoc projects
- Structured analysis of large datasets and formulating initial strategic recommendations
- Monitoring of all foreign advertising budgets (actual vs. planned cost comparisons) and their internal handling, including invoice coding, recharges, ongoing exchange-rate monitoring (foreign-currency budgets), provisions and reconciliations
- Departmental support during the implementation of SAP S/4HANA
- Assistance to the Senior Commercial Development Manager in further automation of business processes
- Interface management with other functions such as Regional Management, IT, SCM and Group Controlling
Requirements
- Completed degree in business administration with a focus on Sales, Marketing or quantitative data analysis; alternatively a comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience in analytical roles, preferably in the FMCG sector
- Very good knowledge of SAP applications as well as the MS Office suite – especially Excel
- Fluent German and English
- Strong analytical skills and a highly solution-oriented personality
- Precision, quality and reliability are a must in this role
- Basic IT knowledge (macros, functions, etc.) and experience with Business Intelligence applications desirable
