About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Assist customers with transportation and logistics services under close supervision
Gain exposure to basic transportation management principles
Participate in daily operational tasks, including freight planning, asset utilization, safety management, DOT compliance, driver payroll, Customer Value Delivery, logistics management and analysis, driver supervision, profit-and-loss management, maintenance coordination, and account-specific duties
Gain understanding of industry trends and company initiatives related to driver retention
Perform other related duties as required or assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program or graduate degree program in good standing at an accredited community college, college, or university
Must be able to work 20–25 hours a week during the school semester
Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifting priorities and directives
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Willingness to work flexible hours
Junior or Senior level preferred
This position is not eligible for employment-based sponsorship
GED required
High school education required
