About the role
- Develop and execute the company’s e-Commerce strategy, covering all relevant channels: CPG retail and DTC.
- Partner with marketing and sales cross-functional leadership to shape and execute omnichannel growth strategy.
- Develop performance reporting and sales insights that inform decision-making and improve digital execution across izzio.
- Act as a thought partner on emerging trends, innovation, and digital expansion opportunities.
- Elevate digital commerce fluency across the organization through education, coaching, and sharing case studies of success internally.
- Translate and execute integrated marketing campaigns into e-Commerce that drive sales growth and support brand development, new bread launches, and strategic partnerships while developing and maintaining best in online content.
- Lead, optimize and grow our digital retail business in partnership with sales leads expanding growth across omnichannel platforms.
- Manage volume forecasting, trade investment, demand planning, and supply alignment to ensure operational excellence for digital accounts with cross-functional leads.
- Seek and evaluate new digital commerce opportunities to drive growth within budget and aligned to achieve company goals.
- Build scalable reporting, benchmarking, and tools to measure execution across digital shelf fundamentals (search, content, availability, price, and share).
- Anticipate and mitigate customer friction points across the omnichannel journey and optimize content to convert and ensure seamless consumer experiences.
- Maintain brand voice, positioning, look and feel, ensuring consistency and impact, in close collaboration with marketing and creative teams.
- Seek out and secure strategic partnerships that build brand awareness and presence.
- Lead all aspects of the e-Commerce business from P&L analysis through 3PL management.
- Manage the e-Commerce budgets and related marketing calendar.
- Manage all external e-Commerce agencies (as applicable).
- Create sales materials and presentations for customers to share success and build partnerships.
- Evaluate and assess opportunities for DTC expansion, including evaluation of 3PL logistics, build the business case, and implement management of DTC business.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, eCommerce, or related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of senior sales and/or marketing experience managing digital retailers including Instacart, Doordash, Kroger, Albertsons, Target etc. in food or other fast-moving consumer goods.
- 1-3 years’ experience managing a DTC, ideally setting up or managing 3PL logistics partners.
- Expertise in online tools, media, SEO, operations.
- Amazon experience preferred.
- Proven track record in growing online sales, managing digital marketing campaigns, and improving customer experience.
