About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Serve as the CFO's primary deputy on planning, budgeting, forecasting, and investor- and lender-facing financial matters
  • Lead the annual operating budget, multi-year strategic financial plan, and rolling forecasts
  • Translate financial performance, market dynamics, and operational trends into Board narratives and investor materials
  • Drive scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, capital allocation frameworks, and cash flow management
  • Build financial forecasting models, strategic narratives, and public-company-ready processes
  • Lead financial and operational analytics for future lender and investor capital raises
  • Develop business cases and ROI models for operational, technology, AI, and corporate infrastructure investments
  • Own end-to-end performance management reporting, including KPIs, dashboards, variance analysis, scenario analysis, risks and opportunities, and capital planning
  • Lead monthly and quarterly operating reviews with executive leadership and private equity sponsors
  • Oversee equity sponsor and lender financial reporting, accuracy, timeliness, and covenant compliance
  • Lead a data science team providing operational insights and enterprise value creation models
  • Oversee company-wide cost management and optimization, including corporate investments, vendor procurement, and operational cost insights
  • Partner with Accounting through monthly close to validate financials and deliver decision-grade management reporting
  • Leverage AI and automation for actionable insights at executive and clinic levels
  • Build, lead, and develop the FP&A team and prepare it for a potential exit process
  • Champion AI adoption in FP&A and coach the team on AI tools
  • Own the FP&A technology roadmap and implement AI and BI tools
  • Modernize the financial data ecosystem, drive automation, and reduce manual reporting
  • Build scalable financial processes and controls for multi-state clinic expansion and acquisitions
  • Provide financial leadership to Revenue Cycle, including revenue recognition, collections performance, and revenue analytics
  • Develop investment business cases and value-creation tracking across the enterprise, focusing on AI investment ROI models
  • Provide financial and procurement rigor to optimize enterprise costs
  • Lead enterprise risk management
  • Partner with executive leadership and the Chief of Staff on enterprise priorities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 15+ years of progressive finance experience
  • Minimum of 5 years in a senior FP&A and/or finance leadership role
  • Track record in multi-site, multi-state healthcare services or similarly operationally complex, high-growth environments
  • Experience within or directly alongside private equity-backed companies
  • Sponsor-grade reporting and board-level presentations experience
  • Expertise in financial modeling, business case development, scenario analysis, and long-range planning
  • Strong command of healthcare financial drivers, including healthcare revenue, operating costs, corporate costs, capital, and initiative-level ROI value creation
  • Ability to lead, develop, and scale finance teams
  • Experience with M&A, De Novos, and organic growth opportunities
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
  • Experience with enterprise BI or planning platforms, including Workday Adaptive and Power BI
  • Experience with AI LLM platforms, including Claude, Co-pilot, and Cowork
  • Familiarity with lender reporting obligations, covenant compliance, and debt capital structures common in PE-backed platforms
  • Experience in PE exit processes and/or public company FP&A
