About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Educate on the Prevention & Care portfolio and sell to existing offices and new offices within a specified geography.
  • Call on all company authorized dealers in an assigned territory.
  • Develop good business partnerships with these dealers and their sales representatives.
  • Direct and develop distributors and dealers to sell Ivoclar Prevention & Care solutions.
  • Introduce new products/promotions and demonstrate the ability to gain market share with these programs.
  • Once an office has decided to support the brand, the advocate can share with the practitioners how to "soft-sell" the product(s) to patients.
  • Advising the staff on the small changes that can be made to create opportunities for growing the office business, while providing a higher standard of care.
  • Collaboration with the Ivoclar territory sales rep in your area will help foster stronger success with the office.
  • Develop influential dental professionals (hygienists and dentists) as referrals and customers in assigned territory.
  • Participate in and sell at local, regional, and national dental trade shows and seminars.
  • Sell Clinical product line to the dental schools in assigned territory.
  • Develop a strong business relationship with directors and chairpersons.
  • Leverage the CE education programs established for the PCA team to accelerate awareness building, establish credibility, and influence office adoption of our portfolio.
  • Be familiar with the location and operations of any government dental facility in assigned territory.
  • Introduce Ivoclar P&C products to the personnel of these facilities.
  • Maintain an effective and current sales plan for assigned territory. Include specific sales programs, competitive product, and environment analysis.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • College degree in Dental Hygiene
  • Clinical hygiene experience
  • Dental sales experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a credit card is required
  • Ability to travel overnight and for multi-day business needs
  • Ability to regularly utilize proven and demonstrated entrepreneurial skills to resolve challenges and or create opportunities
