About the role

  • Ensure the appropriate minimum control requirements are in place to meet IVCE and Corporate Governance Requirements.
  • Act as an advisor to the business to provide guidance and best practices in control performance and risk mitigation through control.
  • Drive business ownership of their minimum control requirements.
  • Identify insights to share with executive management to help drive control improvements.
  • Support the completion of key reporting requirements such as Audit and Risk Committee papers.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in areas of responsibility.
  • Be part of projects impacting controls to ensure all risks are being considered and the business is appropriately considering control impacts.

Requirements

  • Experienced in Internal Control design with a focus on mitigating the key risks to the process / business area.
  • Commercially aware and ensures control design is suitable for the company.
  • Outstanding relationship management capability, including working confidently with management at all levels.
  • Basic understanding of the Corporate Governance code and it’s requirements.
  • Proactive, can-do attitude
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Fluent in English
  • Ability to perform limited international travel.
