About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Meet portfolio expansion targets (cross-sell, upsell and activation) without compromising the health and trust of the client relationship;
  • Conduct recurring negotiations on take rate, renewals and re-pricing, defending iugu’s results and the value delivered to the client;
  • Turn data (TPV, mix, seasonality) into concrete commercial recommendations at the right time;
  • Lead QBRs and executive reviews with strategic clients, connecting what the client needs with what iugu can evolve in the product;
  • Prioritize time across accounts, knowing where the greatest growth potential is and where to invest commercial energy;
  • Balance the roles of consultant and seller, maintaining client trust even during price and renewal conversations;
  • Anticipate volume declines or behavioral changes in the portfolio and respond with a value proposition before they become risks;
  • Bring the right requests to the Product team, prioritizing initiatives that generate real expansion and translating client needs into product opportunities.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Knowledge of the payments ecosystem and its business indicators: TPV, take rate, mix of PIX, card and boleto, seasonality and ARPC;
  • Commercial negotiation techniques and portfolio management with revenue targets: cross-sell, upsell, renewals and re-pricing;
  • How to structure and run QBRs and executive reviews with decision-makers and C-level;
  • Ability to read data in spreadsheets and dashboards to identify opportunities and support proposals;
  • Experience in fintech, acquiring, sub-acquiring or payment platforms;
  • Prior experience with expansion targets or sales quotas in a B2B environment;
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot) and data analysis tools (basic SQL is a plus);
  • Courses or certifications in consultative selling, Customer Success or negotiation.
