About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop territory plans and drive sales within the Northeast United States market
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, architects, distributors, and contractors
  • Provide technical support, product guidance, take-offs, and construction document review
  • Manage the territory distribution network to ensure contractor and end-user satisfaction
  • Apply value-selling techniques and deliver presentations
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers to influence specifications and accelerate project opportunities
  • Use CRM and the Buy-Cycle Funnel process to prospect, quote, close projects, and forecast sales
  • Provide market intelligence and Voice-of-Customer insights
  • Identify trends supporting growth and innovation initiatives
  • Conduct jobsite visits and support proper product installation
  • Use ITW Business Principles and Toolbox to identify opportunities and improve sales processes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Engineering or Business preferred
  • 5+ years of sales experience, preferably in construction, concrete, building materials, or structural/civil engineering
  • Ability to build relationships and influence key decision-makers within the assigned territory
  • Strong business acumen
  • Ability to analyze market and sales data and develop growth strategies
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 or other CRM platforms preferred
  • Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to read construction drawings and project specifications
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 60%
  • Valid U.S. passport required for business travel to Canada
