About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver high quality features and bug fixes in legacy and new systems.
  • Work with SQL Server, writing queries and stored procedures and making schema changes
  • Own development tasks end-to-end, from requirements gathering through to delivery, with a careful and pragmatic approach to legacy systems.
  • Contribute to internal tools and APIs where appropriate.
  • Contribute to automated and unit testing to ensure software quality is maintained
  • Participate actively in peer code reviews and the agile scrum process

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A degree in computer science, mathematics, or similar field.
  • 1+ years’ experience as a software developer
  • Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., C# .NET, Java, Python)
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities
  • Familiarity with databases (e.g. SQL)
