About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead assigned areas of the month-end close process, ensuring timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting
Manage tracking, accounting entries, analysis, and reporting related to revenue recognition for EAE in accordance with U.S. GAAP and ITW Corporate policies
Prepare quarterly inventory reserve analyses and calculations in compliance with ITW policy
Prepare and distribute monthly margin report
Partner with cross-functional teams and serve as the Finance lead for the annual physical inventory process, including planning, execution, reconciliation, and reporting
Detailed review, analysis, and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts as assigned
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts activities
Assist with internal and external audit requirements
Identify opportunities to increase efficiency, improve reporting accuracy, enhance controls, and drive execution

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in accounting
CPA is a plus
5-10 years of progressive experience
Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred
Experience supporting month-end close, financial reporting, audits, and business process improvements
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting principles
Strong understanding of Cost accounting & Inventory Management
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required; experience with QAD, or other ERP/reporting systems preferred
