About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work alongside storyliners, writers and script editors.
- Observe and contribute to story conferences.
- Support the development of multi-episode storylines.

Requirements
What you’ll need- At least one paid experience writing for film, television, audio drama, theatre or online content (for example: theatrical drama or audio drama).
- A strong interest in continuing drama storytelling.
- Strong written communication and attention to detail.
- The ability to work to deadlines and respond to editorial feedback.
- An interest in creating stories that reflect the experiences and communities of modern Britain.
- Able to demonstrate a diverse voice and alternative view of modern Britain for a range of characters in continuing drama.
- Knowledge of continuing drama storytelling, particularly Coronation Street and/or Emmerdale.
- Understanding of long-running story arcs and character development.
- The ability to write distinct character voices.
- Strong organisational and collaboration skills.
- Experience working as part of a creative team.
