About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Supporting the day-to-day delivery of ITV’s data privacy programme, helping ensure compliance across a wide range of operational activities
- Managing end-to-end data subject rights requests and privacy complaints
- Monitoring and responding to privacy inboxes, triaging requests and coordinating responses
- Supporting the logging and coordination of data privacy incidents and breaches
- Maintaining records including regulatory registrations, RoPA and privacy documentation
- Supporting compliance monitoring and testing across business units
- Assisting with reporting on data privacy compliance and associated risks
- Supporting the delivery of data protection training and internal communications
- Maintaining and improving privacy tools and systems used by the team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience working in a compliance, legal, data protection or operational environment
- Strong understanding of GDPR principles and data protection requirements
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of work
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a clear interest in data privacy
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with complex information and translating it into clear actions
- Strong stakeholder management skills across a range of business functions
- A structured and organised approach to record-keeping and documentation
- A collaborative team player who enjoys working in a specialist function
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for developing a career in data protection
