About the role
- Lead the protection of systems and data based on our policies and standards;
- Configure, monitor, and maintain the environment and tools that support our infrastructure;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide training to employees, ensuring compliance;
- Communicate information security issues effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
- Balance technical expertise with strategic management to protect digital assets and ensure business continuity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related fields; degrees in Information Security, Cyber Defense, Computer Engineering, or related areas are also relevant.
- Understanding of cybersecurity best practices, including encryption, authentication, authorization, intrusion detection, and intrusion prevention;
- Knowledge of data protection practices and regulations for safeguarding personal data, such as Brazil's LGPD and other privacy laws;
- Proficiency with operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.) and their security configurations. Familiarity with security laws, regulations, and standards relevant to the industry, such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOX, etc.;
- Experience in security incident response, including investigation, mitigation, and post-breach recovery;
- Knowledge of cloud security measures, such as access control, encryption, and key management;
- Experience designing network architectures and IT infrastructure to enable appropriate security controls;
- Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks, prioritizing actions to protect critical assets;
- Awareness of current trends in cybersecurity, such as AI for threat detection and IoT security;
- Preferred qualifications: information security certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA);
- Experience in cybersecurity incident response.
