About the role
- Support operational controlling (analyze results, develop measures and initiate implementation)
- Assist with planning and budgeting, as well as forecasting
- Produce standardized and ad hoc analyses and reports
- Advise department heads and business unit leaders
- Prepare documentation for investment decisions
- Drive process optimizations
- Support the financial integration of newly acquired subsidiaries, domestically and internationally
- Support month-end closing activities and accruals
- Support management reporting: prepare various reports for different stakeholders and continuously optimize and automate reporting processes
- Optimize controlling tools and processes and further develop internal management tools
Requirements
- University degree in Finance & Controlling or equivalent qualification
- Relevant professional experience in (business) controlling
- Strong analytical skills and IT affinity
- Strong numerical aptitude, with the ability to interpret results, critically challenge findings and present conclusions
- Excellent Excel skills and initial experience with Power BI and ERP systems
- Good German and English skills; French and Italian are an advantage
- Willingness to develop professionally and a drive to help build and grow the business
