About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Execute outbound prospecting efforts across phone, LinkedIn, and email channels to engage prospective clients within assigned target accounts
- Identify, research, and prioritize key decision-makers and stakeholders in financial services organizations
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined criteria to ensure alignment with ideal customer profiles
- Schedule and coordinate discovery calls and introductory meetings for Account Managers
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions and pipeline activity within Salesforce and Apollo platforms
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and support broader sales plays
- Stay informed on industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape within financial services and technology
- Partner with Account Executives and Sales Leader in respective region to align on account strategy and opportunity development
- Work with marketing to support campaign execution, follow-ups, and lead nurturing initiatives
- Provide feedback on lead quality, messaging effectiveness, and market insights
Requirements
What you’ll need- **2+ years BDR experience** in FinTech, SaaS, or software sales.
- **Bachelor's degree required** (business or finance preferred).
- Proficient **cold‑calling ability** and outbound prospecting skills.
- Proficient in **LinkedIn Sales Navigator** and **Apollo** (sequencing, research, outreach).
- Familiarity in CRM systems (Salesforce).
- **Financial services background preferred** (banking, lending, wealth, insurance, or capital markets).
- Experience communicating financial and technical concepts to senior decision makers.
- Self‑motivated, metrics‑driven, and comfortable in fast‑paced environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; coachable and collaborative.
