About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Execute outbound prospecting efforts across phone, LinkedIn, and email channels to engage prospective clients within assigned target accounts
  • Identify, research, and prioritize key decision-makers and stakeholders in financial services organizations
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads based on defined criteria to ensure alignment with ideal customer profiles
  • Schedule and coordinate discovery calls and introductory meetings for Account Managers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospect interactions and pipeline activity within Salesforce and Apollo platforms
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and support broader sales plays
  • Stay informed on industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape within financial services and technology
  • Partner with Account Executives and Sales Leader in respective region to align on account strategy and opportunity development
  • Work with marketing to support campaign execution, follow-ups, and lead nurturing initiatives
  • Provide feedback on lead quality, messaging effectiveness, and market insights

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • **2+ years BDR experience** in FinTech, SaaS, or software sales.
  • **Bachelor's degree required** (business or finance preferred).
  • Proficient **cold‑calling ability** and outbound prospecting skills.
  • Proficient in **LinkedIn Sales Navigator** and **Apollo** (sequencing, research, outreach).
  • Familiarity in CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • **Financial services background preferred** (banking, lending, wealth, insurance, or capital markets).
  • Experience communicating financial and technical concepts to senior decision makers.
  • Self‑motivated, metrics‑driven, and comfortable in fast‑paced environments.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; coachable and collaborative.
