About the role
- Design and validate precision analog and power circuitry for high-voltage (up to 240 V) electricity metering applications
- Develop AC-to-DC power supplies, including magnetics, isolation, protection, and efficiency optimization
- Perform hands-on prototype builds, debug, and characterization using lab and environmental test equipment
- Minimize RF emissions while optimizing cost
- Drive root-cause analysis, support regulatory compliance, and contribute to manufacturing test and calibration strategies
- Collaborate with firmware, systems, mechanical, compliance, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Participate in design reviews and mentor junior engineers
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in analog and power electronics design
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field
- Strong understanding of analog component performance, noise, thermal effects and long-term product stability
- Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout best practices
- Experience with typical electronics lab equipment
