About the role

  • Design and validate precision analog and power circuitry for high‑voltage (up to 240 V) electricity metering applications, emphasizing accuracy, safety, and long‑term reliability
  • Develop AC‑to‑DC power supplies, including magnetics, isolation, protection, and efficiency optimization
  • Perform hands‑on prototype builds, debug, and characterization using lab and environmental test equipment
  • Minimize RF emissions while optimizing cost
  • Drive root‑cause analysis, support regulatory compliance, and contribute to manufacturing test and calibration strategies
  • Collaborate with firmware, systems, mechanical, compliance, and manufacturing teams throughout the product lifecycle
  • Participate in design reviews and mentor junior engineers, promoting strong engineering practices and an inclusive team culture.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in analog and power electronics design
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field
  • Strong understanding of analog component performance, noise, thermal effects and long-term product stability
  • Proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout best practices
  • Experience with typical electronics lab equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to work accountably and independently while contributing to collaborative, cross‑functional teams in a dynamic, agile environment
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly document designs, share results, and engage authentically with teammates and stakeholders across disciplines.
