About the role

  • iTmethods is a 20+ year-old firm specializing in managed services, enterprise AI, DevOps, and cloud integration. As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer, you'll deploy and customize AI-assisted development tools and Agentic AI agents for enterprise customers, ensuring secure, self-hosted integrations with iTmethodsONE and partners. Work directly with customers onsite or remotely to assess needs, prototype solutions, and optimize deployments for up to 67% cycle reductions and up to 50% cost savings. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners to build and scale AI agents for workflows like automation, decision-making, and compliance in regulated industries. Execute hands-on troubleshooting, performance tuning, and rapid iterations in 12-week frameworks with war room sessions, leveraging hyperscalers (AWS/Azure) and tools like CI/CD. Contribute to internal AI adoption and customer success, fostering a warrior culture of innovation through training, feedback loops, and fixed-price outcome delivery. Track deployment metrics (e.g., utilization, ROI) and provide insights to refine offerings for 3x faster delivery.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in AI/ML engineering, DevOps, or forward-deployed roles with hands-on deployment/customization experience. Expertise in AI-assisted tools (e.g., MLOps, coding assistants) and Agentic AI (autonomous agents, LLMs like Bedrock/OpenAI). Strong skills in cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), DevOps tools (CI/CD, GitHub, Kubernetes/Helm), security (DevSecOps/GDPR), and integrations for regulated environments. Proven track record deploying solutions for enterprise clients, with emphasis on agility, problem-solving, and results in fast-paced settings. Warrior mindset: Demonstrated urgency, speed, and purpose in execution; ability to thrive without bureaucracy while driving synergies. Bachelor's/Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related; AI/ML certifications (e.g., AWS ML Specialty) a plus. Willing to travel for client deployments; based in or willing to relocate to Toronto or Austin.
