About the role

  • Act as the lead Product Owner for the Claims squad, ensuring value delivery and continuous product evolution
  • Lead the definition, prioritization and maintenance of the backlog, aligned with the area’s strategic objectives
  • Facilitate agile ceremonies (planning, refinement, review, retrospective) together with the technical team and the Scrum Master
  • Actively participate in defining and reviewing claims rules, with a focus on automation, anti-fraud and improving the customer journey
  • Work with API integrations, understanding how data is transformed and flows between systems
  • Be able to query databases, perform API calls using tools like Swagger or Postman, and interpret technical and architecture diagrams
  • Collaborate with international teams (UK and India), ensuring smooth communication and timely delivery
  • Use data and metrics to inform decision-making, proposing improvements and new solutions
  • Oversee testing and acceptance plans with technical teams, ensuring quality and compliance of deliveries
  • Act as an integration bridge between business and technology, with autonomy to propose, prioritize and direct solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Product Owner in the insurance sector
  • Claims specialist with end-to-end knowledge of the journey (rules, anti-fraud, workflow, integrations)
  • Technical profile – understanding of architecture, data and APIs (able to query databases, read diagrams and perform API calls)
  • Experience in agile environments, backlog management, writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria
  • Fluent English (daily communication with teams in the UK and India)
