About the role
- Lead capture and solution strategy for pursuits across federal IT and mission domains including RFP/RFQ/RFI responses.
- Own the technical and management proposal volumes, crafting compelling, compliant narratives that highlight iTech AG’s discriminators and value.
- Partner with BD, capture, and delivery leadership to qualify opportunities, define win themes, discriminators, price-to-win strategies, and innovative solution approaches.
- Lead discovery workshops to uncover business needs and technical requirements.
- Architect solutions leveraging cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP); application development and microservices; data, analytics, and AI/ML; and ServiceNow (CRM, PSDS, FSM, EAM, ITSM, HRSD, SPM, and custom apps).
- Facilitate executive-level workshops and technical deep dives to align solutions with mission outcomes and stakeholder needs.
- Support oral proposal presentations as solution lead and storyteller; deliver tailored demos, POCs, and ROI/value conversations to executive audiences.
- Build solution roadmaps integrating modernization, cybersecurity, interoperability, and long-term O&M sustainment.
- Engage and manage technology partners (ServiceNow, Salesforce, Microsoft, AWS, etc.) to co-develop and position differentiated offerings.
- Develop compelling proposal graphics, marketing materials, and executive-level PowerPoint presentations to support capture meetings, proposals, and orals.
- Mentor and coach solution contributors (junior architects, proposal writers, SMEs), while building reusable solution assets and playbooks.
- Engage with C-level executives and agency leaders to shape opportunities, build consensus, and close deals by demonstrating executive presence, facilitation, and persuasive storytelling.
- Contribute thought leadership through white papers, customer forums, industry events, and internal solution communities.
Requirements
- 5+ years federal IT solutioning, capture, and proposal writing, with at least 2 years in pre-sales or solution architecture.
- Strong track record writing and owning technical and management volumes in winning GovCon proposals.
- Demonstrated ability to design, position, and deliver cloud, application development, and digital transformation solutions in federal environments.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills; ability to translate technical concepts into mission and business impact.
- Experience presenting to and influencing C-suite and senior federal executives, including during orals and closing phases of competitive procurements.
- Experience in competitive sales cycles, ideally at a ServiceNow partner, vendor, or GSI.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Certifications in ServiceNow CIS, PMP, AWS/Azure, and/or Agile.
- Preferred: experience/certifications in FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST RMF, Zero Trust, ITIL, Agile/SAFe, and CMMI.
- Preferred: experience in federal mission areas such as grants management, facilities/asset management, case management, logistics, and customer experience modernization.
- Additional certifications in ITIL, SAFe, or security frameworks preferred.
