About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Administration and operation of Windows client as well as virtual and physical server environments
- Supporting staff with 1st and 2nd level support (on-site and remote)
- Maintenance and further development of the network and IT infrastructure
- Management of hardware, workstations and mobile devices (iOS)
- Operation and monitoring of the backup and recovery environment
- Collaboration with external IT service providers and partners
- Advising business units on technical issues
- Maintaining IT documentation and contributing to optimization initiatives and IT projects
Requirements
What you’ll need- Formal IT qualification or several years of experience in the relevant field
- Experience in system administration of Windows server and client environments
- Practical experience in user support and operating network infrastructures
- Good knowledge of virtualization technologies and backup solutions
- Basic knowledge of Linux is a plus
- Strong awareness of IT security and stable operational processes
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
