Responsible for engineering, implementing, and supporting cloud and on-premises platform solutions
Design, engineer, and support cloud and on-premises platform solutions across hybrid and multi-cloud environments
Manage cloud services to ensure scalability, availability, and security
Implement platform engineering strategies that improve system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
Collaborate with stakeholders to align platform architecture with enterprise and mission objectives
Monitor and optimize cloud costs while maintaining compliance and performance standards
Document platform configurations, processes, and operational best practices
Support modernization initiatives including hybrid cloud adoption and enterprise platform security enhancements
Ensure scalability, reliability, and high performance across enterprise platforms while contributing to cost management and optimization efforts
Requirements
5–7+ years of experience in platform engineering, systems engineering, or related roles
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (strongly preferred)
Proven expertise in: Cloud platform engineering and cloud service management
Proven expertise in: Hybrid and multi-cloud strategies
Proven expertise in: Platform security and compliance best practices
Proven expertise in: Cost management and optimization in cloud environments
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Must be eligible to obtain DHS Suitability security clearance, which typically requires 2–4 weeks for processing and must be completed prior to the start date
