Cloud Engineer

• Serve as the Azure Cloud Subject Matter Expert (SME) for architecture, design, implementation, and operations.
• Develop and maintain cloud strategies, architecture diagrams, and documentation aligned with organizational needs for data storage, networking, and security.
• Design and manage hybrid and multi-datacenter environments, including high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions using Azure Site Recovery (ASR).
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Azure DevOps, ARM templates, Terraform, and Git.
• Design, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate system administration tasks with Azure Runbooks, PowerShell, and Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate).
• Monitor and optimize system performance with Azure Monitor, Grafana, and related tools.
• Ensure compliance with DISA STIGs and Azure Security Center (ASC) recommendations for security and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable cloud solutions.
• Create, maintain, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), technical documentation, and executive-level presentations.
• Provide mentorship to engineering staff and enforce best practices for cloud implementation and operations.
• Demonstrate exceptional organizational and time management skills across complex, interdependent technical efforts.
