About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Development of Java applications (Spring Boot) in a microservices architecture
- Evolving solutions with a focus on scalability and high availability
- Applying best practices such as:
- SOLID
- 12-Factor App
- Event Sourcing
- CQRS
- Design and governance of APIs and services
- Implementing observability in Kubernetes environments (Datadog)
- Working with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with AWS (EKS, Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB)
- Experience with Kubernetes and observability (Datadog)
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and Python)
- Understanding of API and service governance
- Differentials / Nice-to-haves:
- Experience in high-volume / mission-critical environments
- Experience with large-scale AWS cloud platforms
- Experience with large-scale event-driven architectures
