About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Work directly on new products with high processing volumes, with a strong focus on performance, data consistency, resilience, and scalability.
- Work in agile, multidisciplinary teams, covering the full lifecycle of solutions from discovery and technical design to delivery, support, and continuous evolution.
- Serve as a technical reference for the team and partner areas, actively participating in all solution phases from discovery and design to development, delivery, and support.
- Provide technical direction to the team, ensuring code and solution quality, security, maintainability, reusability, and sustainability. Also ensure scalability, performance, and resilience.
- Partner with the Product Manager during inception, prioritization, planning, and delivery synchronization, contributing to alignment between strategy and execution.
- Encourage team ownership, autonomy, and collaboration, promoting the use of AI to improve productivity and quality.
- Monitor productivity and efficiency metrics, proactively driving their improvement, and analyze and share technical and operational risks.
- Manage RUN activities, including environment monitoring, incidents, RPDs and changes, and lead continuous improvement cycles (PDCA) within the tech area and/or community.
- Lead and guide strategic initiatives such as Direciona Tech and FinOps, providing extended technical leadership and influence.
- Provide strong support to the team in organizing and prioritizing sprints and releases, aligning technically with peers and stakeholders, and contributing to the technical and behavioral development of team members.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in backend development with Kotlin and/or Java, or frontend (Angular and React)
- Integration patterns (REST APIs and event-driven architectures)
- System documentation and design
- Experience with AWS
- Monitoring and observability
- Scalability, availability, and performance
- Use of AI to enhance deliveries and products
- Modern architectures and reference frameworks
- Experience in cloud computing, 12-factor app principles, and SOLID
- Messaging-based integration (Kafka / MSK)
- SQL and NoSQL databases
- DevOps and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
- Knowledge of secure development practices and patterns
- Preparation of technical documents, diagrams, and executive presentations
- Experience with platform cost optimization (FinOps)
