About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Act as a Senior Data Engineer within modernization squads
Build, evolve and maintain data pipelines on AWS
Actively participate in migrating legacy environments to the cloud
Work with large-scale data processing, ensuring quality, observability and reliability
Collaborate with different areas (data, engineering, platforms and financial business)
Contribute to technical decisions, solution design and engineering best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong foundation in Data Engineering, especially in AWS environments
Hands-on experience with services such as: Glue, S3, DynamoDB, EMR, RDS, ETL, Glue Data Catalog, Glue Crawler, Data Migration Service (DMS), Athena, QuickSight
Compute: EKS, Lambda, EventBridge, EC2
Messaging: SQS, SNS, Kafka
Extensive ETL experience, particularly using PySpark
Solid knowledge of data pipelines and distributed processing
Strong foundation in data modeling and data democratization
Experience with observability tools (CloudWatch, Datadog or similar)
Familiarity with agile methodologies
Ability to read, understand and apply design patterns
Previous experience with Accounting, Financial Systems or Operations
Experience in mission-critical, high-availability environments with regulatory impact
