About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and traceable data pipelines, with a focus on automation
Work on modernizing legacy systems and processes, migrating to cloud solutions (AWS)
Build and evolve ELT processes with emphasis on performance, governance, and data quality
Ensure data quality and consistency in reconciliation processes (data quality)
Structure and organize data for consumption by different business areas
Support the definition of data models that enable reuse, standardization, and scalability
Collaborate with business teams (especially finance/accounting) and technology teams
Analyze and manage inconsistencies between data sources, contributing to continuous process improvements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience in Data Engineering
Experience with cloud environments (preferably AWS)
AWS Lambda
AWS Glue
AWS Step Functions
Amazon S3
Experience with data processing and transformation (ELT)
Knowledge of data modeling and best practices for data structuring
Experience handling large volumes of data with a focus on data quality
Previous experience with financial or accounting data or reconciliation processes
Experience with data lake environments and modern data architectures
