About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate in the squad's technical decisions, contributing to the architecture and design of solutions
Design, develop, and evolve APIs and distributed services with a focus on quality, scalability, and resilience
Actively participate in code reviews, promoting continuous code improvement and sharing best practices
Implement and maintain automated tests (unit and integration), ensuring delivery quality
Contribute to observability, monitoring, and resilience practices for services
Support the team's technical development by sharing knowledge and learnings on a day-to-day basis

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in back-end development, REST APIs, and distributed systems
Knowledge of Java and/or Kotlin (Spring Boot experience is an implicit plus)
Experience with automated testing (especially unit tests) and code quality
Experience with AWS (SQS, SNS, Lambda, ECS, RDS, DynamoDB, ElastiCache)
Experience with CI/CD (pipelines), Git, and code review
Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Knowledge of microservices architecture
Good communication skills and experience in agile teams / multidisciplinary squads
