About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the technical evolution of the PJ Pricing data platform
Actively participate in solution design together with the Business team, translating requirements into scalable data architectures
Build and maintain robust, governed, and efficient data pipelines
Provide data via Data Mesh, Data Management, and APIs
Work with batch and low-latency data to support commercial negotiation systems and the pricing engine
Develop solutions using Python, Spark, and SQL
Work with AWS storage and processing services
Support and provide technical guidance to the Data Engineering team (Tech Lead role)
Contribute to the democratization of data usage across the organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid experience in large-scale Data Engineering
Hands-on expertise with AWS, including production environment experience
Experience building complex data pipelines that integrate multiple sources
Ability to design data solutions in partnership with business areas
Act as a technical reference within larger squads and high-complexity contexts
Data languages and processing: Python, Spark, SQL
Cloud (AWS): Storage: Amazon S3, DynamoDB; Processing and orchestration: AWS Glue, AWS Lambda
Data architecture: Data Mesh and Data Lake
Batch and real-time data pipelines with a focus on scalability, governance, and low latency
