About the role
- Provide training and enablement for teams in international units
- Participate in code and design reviews to ensure quality from the start of development
- Collaborate with developers and other team members to identify and resolve issues
- Ensure the system complies with applicable regulations
- Implement continuous quality practices within the software development process
- Track the defect lifecycle until defects are resolved
- Identify and report defects clearly
- Select appropriate tools and technologies for test execution
- Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve efficiency
- Perform functional, regression, performance, load, stress, security, and usability testing
- Conduct manual and/or automated testing
- Ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Maintain and evolve quality metrics
- Identify and document acceptance criteria
- Create and execute test plans based on system requirements
- Plan and define test strategy according to project needs
Requirements
- Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Appium, or similar)
- Experience with various manual and automated test types for backend applications across the testing lifecycle
- Knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Python
- Experience with test management tools (Jira, TestRail, Zephyr, or similar)
- Basic knowledge of application security concepts and tools (OWASP or similar)
- Familiarity with major AWS services
