Key responsibilities & impact

Administer, maintain, and monitor VMware, Hyper-V, and Nutanix virtualized environments, ensuring infrastructure availability, stability, and performance.
Perform advanced troubleshooting of virtualization environments, conducting incident analysis, root cause identification, and resolution of critical issues.
Provide technical support for infrastructure evolution, migration, and modernization projects, contributing to continuous improvements and best practices.
Operate in critical, high-availability environments, ensuring operational continuity and rapid incident response.
Implement and manage clusters, storage systems, and networks for virtualization, ensuring integration, performance, and infrastructure efficiency.
Serve as a technical liaison with vendors and strategic partners, especially Broadcom/VMware, for support cases, troubleshooting, and technical alignment of solutions.
Monitor the health and capacity of virtualized environments, proposing preventive actions, optimizations, and performance improvements.
Document technical procedures, configurations, and changes made to virtualization environments.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree completed (preferably in Networks, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related fields).
Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere and vCenter, with experience in administration, maintenance, configuration, and optimization of mission-critical virtualized environments.
Experience with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF), including managing converged infrastructure, automation, and operating hybrid, scalable environments.
Knowledge of Hyper-V for administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Microsoft virtualized environments.
Experience with Nutanix AHV, performing administration, monitoring, and support of hyperconverged environments.
Experience implementing and administering clustered and high-availability environments, ensuring resilience and operational continuity.
Knowledge of storage and networking applied to virtualization, including infrastructure integration, performance, and connectivity best practices.
Experience with capacity planning and performance analysis of virtualized environments, working on resource optimization, availability, and infrastructure growth.
Experience in migration, upgrade, and modernization projects for virtualized environments, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to industry best practices.
