About the role

Architect and design secure, scalable cloud networking solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Design and manage VPCs, VPNs, Direct Connect, and hybrid cloud networking solutions.
Implement and optimize cloud firewalls, load balancers, and DNS services.
Ensure networking architectures meet performance, scalability, and security requirements.
Integrate automation and DevOps methodologies to streamline deployment and operations in multi-cloud environments.
Define networking standards, policies, and best practices for cloud and hybrid environments.
Collaborate with OIT stakeholders, engineering teams, and leadership to align solutions with mission and enterprise objectives.
Provide architectural oversight and guidance throughout the design, implementation, and transition of solutions.
Contribute to ongoing modernization initiatives including cloud migration, Zero Trust adoption, and software-defined networking.

7–10+ years of experience in cloud networking and design/architecture
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field strongly preferred; Advanced degree, preferred.
Proven expertise in: Cloud networking (AWS, Azure, GCP) VPCs, VPNs, Direct Connect, and hybrid networking solutions
Cloud firewalls, load balancers, and DNS
Strong leadership and communication skills, with experience influencing enterprise-level technology decisions.
Ability to design solutions that balance innovation, performance, scalability, and security.
Must be eligible to obtain DHS Suitability clearance.
