About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own the full-cycle general ledger and monthly close process
Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and maintain the trial balance
Manage balance sheet accounts, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and lease accounting
Prepare and analyze monthly P&L variance reports, providing clear insights into financial performance
Handle expense allocations across departments, locations, and cost centers
Support cash flow forecasting and budget vs. actual analysis
Assist with ad-hoc financial modeling and reporting for leadership decision-making
Partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Continuously improve accounting processes and systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of progressive accounting experience
Strong knowledge of full-cycle accounting processes
Proven experience with:
- Monthly close and general ledger management
- P&L variance analysis
- Cash flow forecasting and basic FP&A support
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, financial modeling)
Tech-savvy with the ability to learn and adapt to new accounting systems
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial data clearly
