About the role
- Strengthening capacity of island and coastal communities to navigate housing challenges
- Working closely with municipalities and housing stakeholders to advance strategies for housing supply, affordability, and sustainability
- Supporting municipal partners in developing housing strategies and improving policies
- Managing housing-related work and projects from planning to implementation
- Engaging with philanthropy staff on proposal development and fundraising strategy
- Supervising staff and coaching team members for professional growth
Requirements
- Advanced degree with 5 years’ experience or bachelor’s degree with 8-10 years’ experience
- Relevant expertise in housing, planning, community development, municipal government, or related fields
- Demonstrated community development experience with local governments, nonprofit organizations, or public agencies
- Leadership and management experience, including direct supervision of employees
- Strong skills in convening, facilitation, project management, and strategy development
- Excellent written, analytical, and communication skills
