• Lead the annual fundraising planning process to produce effective strategies to achieve revenue targets across the range of revenue streams
• In cooperation with the COO, lead the development of any long-term strategy to achieve agreed long term organizational goals
• Identify new potential income streams and produce strategies to access these funds
• Produce cost-effective budgets to achieve action plans
• Ensure the Fundraising Department is kept within budget
• Support and partner with the COO and SLT members on all major fundraising initiatives
• Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to develop and implement IRCs Nonprofit's financial strategy
• Actively work with the COO and SLT to develop and implement a comprehensive development strategy to include corporate, foundation, mosque, government grants, etc.
• Have primary responsibility for development and execution of all proposals; write and archive all proposals with a long-term relationship-management approach
• Oversee research funding sources and trends, with foresight, to help position IRCs Nonprofit ahead of major funding changes or trends
• Monitor all donor information; provide and present statistical analysis to COO and senior leaders
• Develop and implement a stewardship program aimed at cultivating deeper ties with donors
• Monitor and report regularly on the progress of the development program
• Identify, develop, and mentor the development team
• Line management of fundraising staff, including: Setting objectives and work plans, Managing workload and performance through regular one-to-one line management discussions, Plan and implement personal development program for team members in all relevant skills, Undertake annual performance reviews
