About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud migration and IT modernization projects
Manage project scope, budget, and schedules while ensuring alignment with business objectives
Coordinate cross-functional teams, ensuring efficient resource allocation and task management
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking milestones, risks, and dependencies
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular status updates and addressing concerns
Identify and mitigate risks that may impact project delivery, escalating critical issues as needed
Ensure compliance with federal regulations and security frameworks, such as NIST SP 800-171, CMMC, and FedRAMP
Oversee the implementation of cloud migration tools and IT systems
Manage and support the transition to GCC/GCC High, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance during migration
Lead project documentation efforts, including reports, governance documentation, and change management plans
Support process improvements and contribute to the development of PMO best practices, particularly in secure cloud adoption and compliance management

Requirements

What you’ll need

Current, interim eligibility or previous security clearance
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, information systems, or a related field
3-5 years of experience managing IT projects, preferably in cloud migration, cybersecurity, or IT modernization
Experience with Microsoft GCC and GCC High migrations, including security controls, licensing, and migration tools
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in highly regulated environments (e.g., DoD, federal agencies)
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and tools (Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana)
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
