About the role
- Partner with Sales Executives to guide discovery sessions, assess opportunity pain points, and recommend solutions for IT, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate on technical proposals by providing insights and creating solution outlines that meet client needs and align with ISI’s offerings.
- Serve as a knowledgeable advisor for clients, explaining the technical aspects of ISI’s solutions and addressing client questions.
- Work closely with both sales and technical teams to ensure smooth communication and project handoffs post-sale.
- Assist in documenting technical requirements and reporting on discovery findings to ensure a streamlined handoff to operations.
Requirements
- United States Citizenship is required for this position.
- 3+ years in a Sales Engineering or similar technical advisory role within an MSP environment.
- Familiarity with on-premises infrastructure, networking, virtualization, Google Workspace, AWS, and Microsoft environments to support client discovery and solutioning.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with sales and technical teams in a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with NIST 800-171 and CMMC (preferred)
- 5-10% travel for large opportunities or to attend technology conferences.
