About the role
- Design, build, modify, and optimize reports using JDE ReportNow tools and capabilities.
- Create operational, financial, and S&D reports including dashboards, detail-level documents, KPIs, and exception-based reporting.
- Develop custom layouts, data presentations, and logic leveraging JDE data structures.
- Partner with Finance teams to deliver reports for: General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Financial statements, Revenue, margin, and cost reporting.
- Partner with Sales & Distribution teams to deliver reports for: Order-to-Cash, Sales activity and booking/billing metrics, Inventory, pricing, shipping, and fulfillment, Customer-level and item-level reporting.
- Identify required JDE E1 tables, joins, and data relationships for accurate reporting.
- Perform data validation, troubleshoot discrepancies, and ensure reporting accuracy.
- Enhance existing reports based on business feedback and evolving requirements.
- Prepare technical documentation, data maps, test plans, and user guides.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, IT, and PMO stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with JDE ReportNow development.
- Strong understanding of JDE E1 Finance and Sales & Distribution (S&D) data and business processes.
- Proficiency in extracting, mapping, and validating data from JDE E1 tables.
- Prior experience building financial statements, operational sales reports, inventory reports, dashboards, and analytics within ReportNow.
- Ability to analyze requirements and transform them into optimized reporting solutions.
- Strong knowledge of JDE table structures, OCM mappings, joins, and reporting logic.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to data integrity.
- Strong communication and ability to work with distributed teams.
- Willingness to travel 10–15% as needed.
