About the role

  • Lead daily IT support operations for 150+ users worldwide
  • Manage full lifecycle of hardware provisioning (laptop procurement, shipping, setup, recovery) for employees worldwide
  • Own IT ticketing systems; ensure timely, efficient resolution of technical requests and incident response
  • Implement, manage, and continuously improve IT processes aligned with Agile practices
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and best practices
  • Collaborate with HR and Operations to ensure smooth onboarding/offboarding
  • Serve as primary escalation point for IT-related issues and build a team for long-term support
  • Manage vendor relationships for hardware, software, and IT services
  • Oversee system administration and user management within Microsoft environments (Office 365, Azure AD, Intune)
  • Administer and integrate Okta for SSO and identity management
  • Create, manage, and integrate users across platforms to streamline access and workflows
  • Monitor and optimize IT service performance; provide regular reporting and recommendations to leadership
  • Lead and onboard new hires within 3–6 months; set expectations and guide team growth
  • Enforce access controls and approval workflows; support security tightening efforts and policy compliance

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3 years reporting directly to leadership
  • Proven track record of building or scaling IT teams and processes
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft environments (Office 365, Intune, Azure AD, Endpoint Manager)
  • Experience with Okta administration, API integrations, and user management
  • Familiarity with ticketing platforms (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk) and Agile workflows
  • Solid understanding of IT security, compliance, and data protection best practices
  • Hands-on experience managing global hardware logistics and remote IT support
  • Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to work cross-functionally
  • English fluency required
  • Nice to have: Certifications in Microsoft, cybersecurity frameworks, or Agile methodologies
  • Nice to have: Experience in high-growth startups or professional services firms
  • Nice to have: Exposure to compliance-driven industries (cybersecurity, finance, or healthcare)
  • Nice to have: Vendor negotiation and budget management experience
  • Nice to have: Spanish language skills are a strong plus
