ISCC – the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification

Manager

• Leadership and management of sustainability certification activities as Country Manager for assigned countries, ensuring compliance with environmental and social standards and coordinating with Certification Bodies and key stakeholders
• Monitoring, implementation and supervision of certificate validation for assigned 4C Units and 4C Chain of Custody (CoC) Groups, including coordination with responsible Certification Bodies
• Cooperation with the EUDR team in validating applications for no-deforestation assessments and EUDR attestations, including verification of geodata and Business Partner Maps (BPM) and coordination with Managing Entities
• Support of the Integrity Program through analysis of reported cases, monitoring of corrective actions and improvements, conducting on-site investigations when required, and preparation of investigation reports and statements
• Monitoring and analysis of the development and implementation of relevant laws and regulations in the countries of responsibility, including preparation of analysis reports upon request
• Driving international customer acquisition, development and maintenance of key stakeholder relationships, and provision of training, guidance and support for certification and sustainability programmes
• Facilitation of business expansion in countries of responsibility through identification and engagement of strategic stakeholders and partners, as well as strategic planning and implementation of sustainability initiatives aligned with 4C objectives
• Proposal and implementation of development initiatives and maintenance of partnerships with relevant stakeholders
• Contribution to system development and continuous improvement, including development of requirements, revision of key documents and benchmarking activities
• Provision and support of system user trainings
• Supervision of Sustainability Assistants when required
• Development, organisation and facilitation of high-level international sustainability events and representation of the organisation at international forums and conferences

Sustainability Manager – Coffee, Cocoa

Full-stack Engineer

• Design, development, and maintenance of full-stack applications, web services and REST APIs
• Implementation and integration of ISCC applications with external systems and web services
• Automation and optimization of workflows and data-driven processes
• Preparation, analysis, and curation of business-relevant data
• Creation and maintenance of clear technical documentation in line with internal standards
• Translation of business requirements into technical solutions, including refining and implementing user stories
• Ensuring consistency, integrability and data security across applications
• Active contribution to cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives
• Close collaboration within the IT team, reporting to the Senior IT Project Manager & Team Lead

Software Engineer – Full Stack

Operations

• Central coordination and administration of all office management processes across our six sister companies within our Cologne entity
• Optimization, standardization, and continuous improvement of internal office workflows, including ownership of documentation such as handbooks, guidelines, and checklists
• Serve as a key interface between People & Culture, Management, IT, Accounting, and external service providers
• Ownership of administrative onboarding processes for new employees, including conducting onboarding sessions related to Office Administration and Health & Safety
• Management of contract registers, vendors, and suppliers (e.g., facilities and cleaning services, insurance management)
• Support in planning and coordinating internal events, workshops, and company meetings in close collaboration with the Academy & Events team
• Maintain and promote our administrative processes and internal standards through continuous advocacy
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and continuous improvement initiatives across ISCC
• Provide guidance and oversight for interns and working students

Office Administration – Operations Manager

• Central coordination and administration of all office management processes across our six sister companies in Cologne

• Support for the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of ISCC certification schemes for SAF and Alternative Marine Fuels
• Monitoring and assessment of aviation and maritime regulatory frameworks and their implications for ISCC certification
• Design and implementation of certification frameworks to ensure regulatory alignment and scheme integrity
• Development and maintenance of ISCC system documents, audit procedures, and training materials
• Coordination and delivery of ISCC trainings related to aviation and maritime sustainability
• Building and maintenance of strong relationships with stakeholders, including policymakers, fuel producers, airlines, and vessel operators
• Representation of ISCC at external events, either online or in person, such as conferences, stakeholder meetings, workshops, and webinars
• Proactive identification of new market opportunities and engagement with industry stakeholders
• Support for the expansion of biofuel markets through outreach and engagement
